Rena’s dedication to service extends beyond her legal work. She has volunteered as both a clerk and an attorney at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law in Los Angeles, supporting access to justice for families in need. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Our Village Gardens, a nonprofit organization in Oregon that promotes food security and community connection through neighborhood gardens in the Cathedral Gardens, Tamaracks, and New Columbia communities of North Portland.
Before entering the legal profession, Rena built a career in fine art, photography, and journalism, experiences that continue to inform her creative approach to problem-solving and her deep appreciation for each client’s unique story.
